EYFS Training Courses: CPD Approved and Certified by the EYF

Communicating a commitment to Continued Professional Development CPD is the foundation to professionalism in the Early Years.  Children’s progress and achievements cannot superseded the knowldge and expertise of those that care for them.  Accessing quality training courses is essential in securing your CPD and ultimately children’s future success.  To help you to focus your commitment to CPD, and to help you to evaluate and monitor impact, we offer training courses across three distinct areas that promote fulfillment of the requirements of the EYFS:

1. Mandatory Training Courses – this is training that must be renewed, for example: paediatric first aid, food hygiene

2. Safeguarding and Welfare Courses for example: safeguarding children, suitability, prevent duty, recruitment and selection, suitable people

3. Learning, Development and Assessment Training Courses this is training that focuses upon developing quality of teaching and learning in the interest of securing the best outcomes for all children including those with SEND

Accessibility: our expert and experienced trainers come to your setting and train your whole team at a time and date to suit your workforce.  Often this involves twilight and weekend sessions as well as courses that are split up to take place over more than one day.  Individual places can be booked on one of our scheduled training courses that are held at various places across the country.  These scheduled training courses are published on our website and Facebook Page.

Affordability: we promise you’ll be pleasantly surprised at just how affordable our training courses are, for example our full 12 hour paediatric first aid course is just £40pp, all inclusive, and safeguarding for designated lead is just £35pp, all inclusive.  Please message us for further information.

Quality Support Visits

Our quality support visits provide opportunity for providers to access one-to-one support from experienced and qualified Early Years experts.  The impact of our quality support visits promote outstanding practice across all aspects of provision, securing the very best outcomes for children across the country.  Our Early Years experts are pioneering, inspiring and extremely supportive.  They are unique in the fact that they too have experience of running outstanding Early Years settings and so are sensitive and understanding to the difficulties that present themselves.

To maximise the impact of our quality support visits upon outcomes for children, and to offer clear record keeping to support during an Ofsted Inspection, each session covers:

  • identification of clear objectives and goals alongside the intended impact upon provision for children
  • agreed arrangements for monitoring and sustaining impact including next steps that feed into the setting’s development plans

  • well established links to the setting’s self-evaluation processes

  • underpinning with the Early Years Inspection Handbook and the relevant requirements of the EYFS

Accessibility: our support visits can be arranged for a time that suits the provider, this includes twilight and weekend sessions.  Support sessions can also be offered via Skype or other video-link technology.

Affordability: access as many quality support visits as you require and pay as you go without the worry of expensive contracts.  Each setting will receive a free initial consultation that will seek to identify the type of approach needed.  This initial consultation is non-obligatory.  Settings receiving more than one support session will receive a reduction on the overall costs.  In addition, settings that go on to access training as a necessary next step following a quality support visit will be awarded a 10% discount on our full range of courses.  Each two hour session costs £150.  Providers may be asked to consider travel expenses, but this will be reasonable and only applied where needed and agreed.
