Description
This course is written specifically for managers and leaders (including the safeguarding designated lead) of setting’s registered on the Ofsted Early Years Register: group and school-based settings and childminders (the course is 2 hours and 45 minutes in duration and can be stopped and restarted as often as necessary).
The course covers all of the revisions to the EYFS Safeguarding and Welfare requirements, which come into effect in September 2025.
The content is developed and delivered by those who have experience of working, where it counts the most. on the front-line, hands on, with children and their families. It takes into account the practicalities and challenges faced in reality, when working hard to manage and lead an Early Years setting. This insight offers a refreshing approach to providing training for practitioners that is in-touch with reality and is highly effective in helping to empower and instill confidence.
Many settings may already be covering the revisions effectively, however, this course will help them to ‘take stock’ of what they already have in place; know what (or if) any further changes need to be made – in a way that fits comfortably and easily around what is already in place; offering simple, but highly effective, suggestions for extending the impact of safeguarding arrangements.
The course will come with full CPD certification, which will enabling settings to evaluate and demonstrate the impact of training, supporting them in their self-evaluation process and during an Ofsted inspection.
